I picked one up from an old guy who had it in a gun safe for 25 years, serial number under 200, with original box, mint. I couldn't bring myself to use it. Heck of a knife, enjoy!

The Sale
This is from my personal collection which has been tenderly loved for years.
It is VERY RARE to find one in this condition. No marks, scratches, abrasions or anything. It is UNUSED - it has NEVER nor has its blade EVER been used in ANY shape or form. I am willing to provde hi quality photographs to all serious bidders (but your email system my stop the huge size of these photos-many are in excess of 1MB and I have taken over 20 of them as you can see). This is the early sawteeth version (11 teeth and not 9) based on its low serial number of 055366. It comes complete with the original coruda sheath which is also in MINT condition, no marks, dust, dirt etc which itself has the original rare black compass. All ties and clips are original.
Please look carefully at the photos and you will notice that the sheath is BLACK - no discolouration and CLEAN - no dust. The blade has no flaws, scratches or signs of wear. The blade edge is clean and shows the original striations from manufacture. It has never been sharpened and is in the same condition as it came from Gerber. The point is crisp and sharp as a needle - no rounding etc as per alot of knives found on ebay. The handle and tang are in MINT condition - no dents in the dupont material, no scratches, smashes etc on the tang butt.
This REALLY is in MINT condition. I have sold two LMF's (the BMF's smaller brother) and another BMF in almost similar condition but this one was witheld and kept in my collection. It is now up for grabs by the highest bidder.
I will only send out via 'signed for' postage (or International equivalent) and with additional insurance covering the full purchase price. If you cannot be bothered to have such a beautiful piece insured during transit then please do not bother bidding. This is a SERIOUS piece if kit for SERIOUS collectors only.
Please email me on kommachio@gmail.com for ANY queries. I would rather you asked me as many questions as necessary to verify how immaculate its condition is.
